Project Description
Civilbuild were contracted by RMS to construct a retaining wall to support the Pacific Highway at Charlestown which was slipping after large storm events. The work included 65 off bored piers, up to 32m long, cantilevered reinforced concrete footpaths and rock anchors to support the wall. All work was carried out within a single road lane due to restrictions on closing the highway to traffic.
